This is a hands-on workshop led by a professional “nose” who explains the structure of a fragrance. You work with natural essences sourced from the region, including local lavender, citrus, and Tuscan woods. The focus is on the chemistry of the notes and how they interact to create a balanced scent. It’s a quiet, creative process that strips away the marketing of the perfume industry to focus on the raw materials themselves.

A Custom Fragrance to Take Home

The session results in a bespoke perfume designed entirely by you. You will select the base, heart and top notes that reflect your own preferences, resulting in your own unique 50ml or 100ml bottle. For couples, this is an opportunity to create a shared scent that serves as a physical reminder of your time in Tuscany. We provide the laboratory setup and all the materials.
